Meditative Stretching

 In this two hour workshop students will learn to use meditation and  breath work to find a more effective stretch on their yoga mats.  When the mind falls to a meditative state it allows the muscle to let go of physical tension in the body.  Combining this technique to a stretch creates a situation where the muscles are able to release and relax.  This makes a stretch more effective than when the mind is active and the muscles are in contraction from work or stress. 
 
This workshop incorporates active stretching, meditation, pranayama and restorative postures.  Props and hands on assistance make this session suitable for ALL LEVELS and abilities. 
 
Join us for two hours dedicated to breathing, resting and restoring the mind and body.
