Structure & Alignment for Flow
Unplug & Be Mindful- Marshfield
Next Date- TBA
In this workshop, we will go through all of the basic postures involved in a vinyasa flow practice. Vinyasa is viewed by most as an advanced practice, but with the right guidance anyone can enter and enjoy a vinyasa flow class. Incorrect alignment can cause injury, so using the correct muscles to support each posture is necessary to keep your practice comfortable and safe. Modifications can be applied to make the practice safe for both BEGINNERS and GENTLE PRACTITIONERS, however, not every teacher will offer these modifications, so empower yourself by taking this workshop and learning the modifications that are appropriate for your body and your practice.
ADVANCED YOGIS this class is a necessity to bring your flow practice to the next level. Most misalignments are so subtle that they are not picked up or corrected in a traditional class, but over time a slight misalignment of a hip, a knee, a foot or the position of your tailbone can cause wear and tear on your spine and joints. The more often you practice the greater your risk. Are you looking to add a little more power to your practice? What the next step? Let me help. Come and give your practice a fresh start. Proper alignment will give you more strength and endurance in your practice and spine and joints will thank you for it.
This workshop is appropriate for ALL LEVELS
